Company History

Opened in 1960 by Joe Toth and run by the Toth Family until 2007, The Jewel House has become the West Side’s premier privately owned full service jewelry store.

In 2007, Joe’s son Charles retired and passed the store to the Grajzl Family. Al Grajzl , a jewelry craftsmen and designer who had been working with The Jewel House for over 15 years, operates the store for his family. Grajzl is a certified gemologist and appraiser as well.

He and his son, Jason, now share the designing and repair. Charles Toth still can be found at The Jewel House, helping out a few days a week.

TrollBead bracelet
One change Al has implemented at The Jewel House: the store now carries Trollbeads, the super-collectable charm beads that have become a bona-fide ‘craze’.
